Why this exists

Lights Out is free, unofficial, and built by one person who wanted more to play in a game he couldn’t put down.

The short version

Hi, my name is Sam and I’ve been interested in Bodycam ever since it originally launched years ago.

It fell off my radar until a couple of weeks leading up to the Locked and Loaded update. I’ve logged over 100 hours in the game in the last couple of weeks and am loving it.

It truly is a generational leap in FPS mechanics. The one spot I feel it’s currently lacking in is gamemodes.

I created Lights Out, completely free, to exist as a home for custom gamemodes and, in time, a community competitive/ranked system.

I am not in any way affiliated with Reissad Studio or any of the game’s developers.

What it costs you

Nothing, and it stays that way. There is no account to make, no launcher to leave running, and nothing about you goes anywhere.

The whole arrangement

  • No data. An anonymous install count per gamemode, so I know what’s being played. No hardware IDs, no player names.
  • No trace left behind. Uninstall removes the one file it added to the game.
